Electric Hotel was an experimental and innovative hotel located in Chicago, Illinois in the late 19th century. It was notable for being the first in the United States to offer telephone, electric and steam-powered elevators and electrical lighting. It also featured various amenities, such as a barber shop, restaurant and conservatory, as well as an interior garden and promenade. The hotel closed in 1905 and its building was later demolished in 1949.
